IKEDA Shogo
Title of the work: “Oribe Tokkuri”(Oribe glazed sake server)

1976 Born in Kagoshima
1996 Diploma from Nihon Designer Gakuin
1999 Graduated from Arita College of Ceramics, started apprenticeship with Master
KAWAZOE Sadahide
2001 Set up his own kiln and a snake kiln
Currently producing ceramic works in Kagoshima Nishino-omote and holds numbers of
exhibition


KAWABATA Rieko
Title of the work: “Kakuen Ornate Cowfish-mon Aochibu Rinka Kazarizara”(Red
Ornate Cowfish pattern, blue grain, floral shaped ornamental plate)

TOMITA Hiroyuki
Title of the work: “Yohkohsai-Ichimatsu-mon Katakuchi”(Sunlit check patterned
lipped bowl)

1977 Born in Oʼiso City, Kanagawa Prefecture
2000 Apprenticeship with the ceramist Ijuʼin Mariko
2007 Becomes independent as a ceramist in Isehara City, Kanagawa Prefecture
Eversince then, produces a wide range of ceramic works, from everyday vessels to
large ceramic pieces. To date, has held about 10 solo exhibitions annually in Japan
and abroad.
Also produces wall works and objects for inns, hotels and restaurants.
2021 Moves his workshop and residence to Oura-machi, Gunma.


HAYASHI Mamiko
Title of the work:”Kuri-iro-Nohtan-Shimarenga-mon Nagazara”(shaded chestnut
colored brick pattern long plate)

1959 Born in Tokyo
1982 BA from Keio University, Dept.of Literature
1985 Diploma from Tajimi City Pottery Design and Technical Center Gifu, Japan
~1989 Apprenticeship with Master ITO Keiji
1991 Becomes independent and sets up her atelier in Yokohama City
Since then, holds numerous solo/group exhibitions


WATANABE Miwako
Title of the work: “Suiteki Toki-to-tomoni-saku”(Droplet of water blooming with the lapse
of time)

1969 Born in Osaka
1990 Graduated from Kyoto College of Art, Department of Plastic Arts, Ceramics
