ATARASHI Manabu
Title of the work : Iga Hanaire( Iga Flower Vase)
1973 Born in Osaka
1999 Apprenticed to his father ATARASHI Kanji.
2002 Establishes his hole kiln and holds his first solo exhibition, followed by

numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout Japan.
2011 Construction of a new kiln.
2013 Certified as a traditional Iga ware craftsman and award at the 6th Modern
Tea Pottery Exhibition


SAWA Katsunori
Title of the work : Yahichida Oribe Tokkuri(Sake Server)
1980 Born in Shigaraki Town, Kohka District, Shiga
2002 Diploma from Shiga Ceramics Research Institute, apprenticeship with
Master SUZUKI Goro
2005 Becomes independent in Shigaraki Town and starts holding numerous solo
and group exhibition throughout Japan


FURUTANI Hirokazu
Title of the work : Kohiki Pot
1979 Born in Shiga Prefecture
2003 Diploma from Shigaraki Ceramics Research Institute, Glaze Course.
2004 Diploma from Kyoto College of Pottery Techniques
Apprenticed to his father FURUTANI Nobuo
Produces mainly white kohiki ware for every day use, based on his theme of
"staying close to everyday life”.


MATSUMOTO Haruyuki
Title of the work : Hakuji Youhenju
1983 Born in Tottori Prefecture
2006 Withdrawal from the Department of Ceramic Culture and Design, Seoul
National University of Industry, Korea
2008 BFA from Kyoto Seika University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of
Molding, Pottery major
2010 MFA from Kyoto Seika University, Graduate School、Research Dept. of
Fine Arts. Starts holding numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout
Japan
