1994 BFA from Arita College of Ceramics, Dept. of Production Technology
1995 MFA from Arita College of Ceramics, Research Dept. of Production Technology and one year apprenticeship with Master KOIE Ryoji
Presently engaged in his productions in Iga City, Mie Prefecture

2010 Incentive Award, Kyoto Prefecture Culture Prize
Presently Professor at Kyoto Saga University of Arts and engaged in his productions in Kyotanabe City, Kyoto

Hinoda in recent years introduces a coined expression “Hands-on Visionamusement” to define his work.
This is assumed as an alternative term to “Fine Art” of Western modern concept or “Art” in Japanese concept.
